We are a team of friends who are passionate about education.
It was at Start-up Weekend Singapore Mega 2018 where Roy and Min (whose Team then won the Most Impact Prize with the idea of providing translated audiobooks to increase accessibility to education) met Ting Yu. Sharing the common interest in education and technology, the team hit off and started exploring various ideas in leveraging technology to improve our current education landscape.
Roy and Min are both teachers with more than five years of teaching experience in secondary schools and Junior College while Ting Yu manages tech and sales in a banking firm. In his free time, Ting Yu helped create and teach programming syllabus for 7 – 12 year olds for Scratch and HTML/CSS.
Together, the team decided to participate in SWSG 2020 and AWS Hackdays Singapore amidst the pandemic and eventually won 3rd place and 2nd place respectively. These validations gave us the courage and pushed us to take more concrete steps in developing useful tech to contribute to the education space.
